Announcing winners of the challenge
I first want to thank all of the individuals and organizations who submitted apps for this challenge. Many new and cutting edge ideas were presented that have promise to make significant impact in the field of suicide prevention. The goal of this challenge was not only to develop apps but to help ensure individuals in crisis get the help they need when they need it most. So with that, it is my pleasure to announce the winners of the app challenge: first place, lead by Dr. Nadine J. Kaslow of Emory University, is the Relief Link application. Second place goes to David Conway’s team for their MyPsych application. Our third place winner goes to Valery Andrades’s team for the ReachZ and Companion application. Additional instructions will be sent to the selected individuals. Congratulations not only to the winners but to all who contributed to this challenge.James
